It’s important to have an annual exam to update your glasses or contact lenses, monitor the health of your eyes, and initiate treatments early if needed to prevent disease progression. At your exam we may do a test called a Refraction, which is to get a new glasses prescription. These are only valid for a single year, so it’s important to have it done at every annual exam.
